Hello Everyone and Thank You For Checking Out Sherman's Site!
I wrote "Sherman's World - Finding Courage" around the idea of "friendship" where young readers learn that they will have new and old friends, school and neighbor friends, close and best friends, but for each one, being a brave and caring friend is the right kind of friend to be.

“Sherman’s World - Finding Courage” is about a mouse named Sherman who makes a winter home in a firehouse, where he meets Gus, a funny grasshopper, and starts a crazy training program to become a real firefighter. Gus doesn’t know what to think about Sherman’s plan, but worries that he’ll forget his own survival instincts.
When spring arrives, Sherman’s plan to be a firefighter is tested when a smelly, wet cat is stranded in a tree and later, when an injured firefighter needs help. What should Sherman do? What can he do? Will his training be enough to rescue a cat and a firefighter .... and himself? Humor, action and friendship move this story along in short chapters. For readers ages 7-10 ~ 120 pages
